I met a Tiffany Cougar in person today

At a small local gathering. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It was an 88 with a 5.0 which is rare. They made a lot of 87's but only a few of the 88's. I gave the owners a couple of cards and said you guys would probably really enjoy it if they came on here and told a little about the history of it. They know a lot about the Tiffanys. It was pretty neat talking to them.

This is their website: http://www.tiffanycar.com/ The car pictured in the top corner is the same one I saw.

Tiffany Coupes are an example of what NOT to do to a Fox Cougar.

I saw one @ a local car museum and voiced to the owner of it my dislike of the car. He didn't even know it used to be a Mercury Cougar :disappoin

....I think they're awesome when done right. This one, was done right. Honestly, I wish they left the trunk alone but other than that its pretty cool.

I drove a very low-mileage one just out of morbid curiosity. The body jiggles and shakes around quite a bit.  It feels like a huge wide car to drive but that must be more illusion than reality because it doesn't seem all that larger than a 70s Lincoln of which I have had a few and currently have one that is stretched almost 60 inches.
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"
