Seat Bracket Width on Manual Seats

I need to know what the measurement is between the bolt holes where the base of the seat bolts to the brackets.  It may be different from the front to the rear but I am not 100% sure.  I brought my manual brackets home with me from my dad's shop in Oklahoma so I could work on getting the Corbeau's mounted to them about three weeks ago and am finally having the time to get this done.  I sold the 85 GT Halo seats out of the car so I am hosed there as I cannot have my dad measure it for me.  I am headed up there in two weeks so I can take the brackets with me and bolt them in the car and measure it that way but I sure would like to take the seats up there and just bolt them in if someone here has the info I need to get it done before then.

Thanks,

Darren

I needed to know the bolting pattern off the bottom of a Fox car seat to make some seat bracket adapters like the ones I built for my Coupe in this thread http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?29951-Seat-Adapters (scroll down to post #9 for the pictures).  I finally rounded and old beat up 85 Mustang GT seat and was able to pull the dimensions from center to center (C-C) off that seat so I could build my seat bracket adapters.  For anyone that is interested the measurements I came up with are 14" C-C on the width at the front and back and 13-7/8" C-C from the length on both the left and right sides.  I was able to bolt the brackets out of my Bird bolted up the the front mounting holes but since they used the next hole back on the seats they would not bolt up as these holes had no threads.  By this I mean the Mustang brackets were on the second hole back out of four and the Bird brackets were on the third hole back out of four.  The only hole out of the four rear holes that was tapped with threads was the one the Mustang bracket used so you will need to have a 8mm X 1.25 pitch tap on hand if you are going to install some Fox Mustang seats in your car.  Anhow, hope this helps someone else out.

I took pictures of the brackets I made and have dimensions so I am going to work up an installtion thread to put Corbeau TRS seats in the Bird with the manual brackets.  My take me a couple of days but I will get to it.
