It's finally over! Reply #60 – December 14, 2010, 10:39:37 PM well after hearing this, i would turn this into a project and take the judge to court.A judge is not to think or have opinions but to interpert the law. Whitness the event of whom pulled you aside and who implied your not going to get anywhere. This is one situation where the judge is wrong and a notice to the public in your local paper would not hurt a thing since im sure you will only state the facts to include your intent to persue his being relieved of his chair.this is wrong.... you are right. My recent "shell gas station" situation turned out very well thank you very much just incase you didnt know. It pays to stand your ground just as long as its obvious and unarguably (if thats a word) correct. Quote Selected
It's finally over! Reply #61 – December 14, 2010, 11:22:00 PM we're currently pressing charges on our previous neighbor for numerous things.. basically, through a turn of events, our neighbor caused us to lose our house through BS foreclosure.. this is why i want to live on a back road where you can't see any other houses for as far as the eye can see.. i was never a real people person Quote Selected

He did not ask her why, did not tell her it was wrong, and most importantly, did not tell her it was against the law. I always thought assault was a pretty serious charge. She - a pretty much grown 16 year old girl - hits a little boy in the eye. Does anyone else not see the problem with that? Maybe I am the one that is crazy???? One thing that was brought up by their public defender was that they have lived in this town their whole life and I have lived here for only four years - that I was from a Northern state (I am originally from Boston, Mass.) - and I thought what the shag does have to do with anything?? I guess me being from the north was already one strike against me..... As far as taking the judge to court,,, I don't know how well that would fare around here. He has been a judge for 30 something years and if I filed a complaint or went to the newspapers I feel I would probably get laughed at and be g in the wind. Somehow it just doesn't seem worth the time or headache. Quote Selected

It's finally over! Reply #65 – February 25, 2011, 10:03:00 PM So it is now official. As of tomorrow my address will be changed, and my head will be resting (very comfortably) in a new (old lol) house far away from where I am sitting now. Signed papers for the house today, and moved almost all of my stuff (minus my new TV lol). I am very relieved to be moving into the new house, not only because of the problems with the neighbors, but it is a whole hell of a lot bigger than my current 536 sq. ft. house. Oh and the best part................................ I now have a garage! Concrete floor and all lol. Still needs to be finished but most of the hard work is done. I also sold my current house to my dad, apparently it's sort of sentimental to him being the first house I ever bought. Perfect for him and my mom. Seems it's all working out for me...finally.
