C Pillar emblem does not light up

C Pillar Emblems wont light up
-the emblems work off of 3v DC. If you get replacements from a junk yard, dont apply 12v to test. You will instantly destroy the LED.
Ford has placed an inline resistor to the power feed of your lighted emblems so do not bypass or prob with 12v, you will trash the LED.
as with any LED, the light is polarity sensitive however hooking up power to the emblem backwards will not have an ill effect, the emblem
will simply not light up.

Purpose for this post:
someone here had some bird emblems and blew the led because one of them did light up momentarily.
