Layla's Back!

:D For those of you who are not NATO members, a quick review of my beloved Layla. She's an 88 TC med clearcoat red metallic 5-Speed with all the options, including a red leather interior and power moonroof. I bought he over a year ago barely running and 3 different colors. A few pics of her now are on my site (she's the backround as well). Now she's all one color with a new motor (100K out of an auto TC) with many mods: Aerobird Motorsports prototype cold-air kit, AM IC silicone IC hoses, Gillis valve (@ 8# until I get her tuned and broken in), Cruzin' 35# fuel injectors, Kirban AFPR, BBK 255lph fuel pump, A/C removed, and a 2' long 2.5" open exhaust (which won't last long). She's mean, fast, and loud. And only my street car! Just wait till I get project Thunderstruck done... (Code 33 Silver-Blue 87 TC no option car with a fully-built 400 HP motor...). I figure that if I sell products, I should back them. So if you want to know if something works, come take a ride!

What do you have to break in on a 100k motor?

The new piston and rings in cylinder #2. The original one had a hole. Long story that ends with "NEVER use original pistons in a 2.3L Turbo, ever."

Ahhh!  Gotcha.  Didn't realize engine work was done.
