Non-cougar body question

My wife's 65 Plymouth Fury has a rust hole in the front subframe. I found a guy local who is parting out a nice one. His subframe is perfect, and his price is right. Looks like an easy swap. But before I do all this, I wonder what I can do to make the new frame last. It is her daily driver (ohio winters and all). Anybody know any good coatings or tricks to make it last? I mean, it had lasted 55 years, but it's not like I am ever going to find another perfect frame that is already removed for me!

PS- You might wonder, why don't I ask this on a Plymouth forum? Because the only two c-body mopar forums I can find are not active at all. And there isn't a Jerry on those forums, lol.

I would coat it with something like zero-rust. you can shoot the inside with it too, using a rustproofing gun with a long nozzle.
It it's rust free. I would just epoxy prime it inside and out, and then use a good urethane or epoxy chassis paint on it.
