Hmmm, you know, looking more into this like I should have done to begin with, it seems that I could have just taken an entire tensioner from an mn12 or 3.8 'stang and saved myself the hassle.

I don't know if it bolts up the same way but it definitely turns backwards. And it comes preloaded with the correct pulley.
