How's this ECM?

Doin the Mass Air conversion now that I'm ripping it apart again.  Just curious about the following ECM:

Part #:  F3ZF-12A650-FB
Code:    C3W1

I know it's for a mass air car and the part # denotes 1993 model year, but other than that how's it compare to the ol' A9L?

I have run the C3W1 and the A9P in my Bird... Runs the same on each. I had hoped the C3W1 with it's newer program(supposed to be for modified engines) would surge less when cold.. NOPE.

What good is a V-8 Explorer computer?I've got one of those,2 Mark VII computers, and a 5 speed Mustang GT computer.I'd like to go with Mass Air,but not right now.I'll wait for a while. The ol' girl is running really strong right now.
