Rear shock tower brace fitment.

Well -- the car's apart awaiting some minor bodywork and a full re-paint.  The interior is stripped as well save for the drivers seat and the dash so it can be driven around and moved (I should bring it to the track right now as it most likely weighs 400 pounds less).

I figured now would be as good a time as any to think about installing a rear shock tower brace.

I know some people may feel that it's not needed; but I'm planning on a Watts link and some battle boxes as well.  For the front I'll be installing a 2 point k-member brace ( the 4 point doesn't fit  )

I was wondering if the standard fox Mustang rear shock tower brace will fit or would I have to get creative.  Either way it's gonna happen, but if I can save some time and effort that would be great.

So -- anybody ever put one in one of these cars before?
I was looking into this one:  http://www.americanmuscle.com/steeda-shock-tower-brace.html

i was going to mention that the pan area would likely be different, but that brace doesnt incorporate the third point in the center like the old KBP part did.

at the minimum i would try to give them a call and see if you can get a width measurement as im not sure, and never tried to fit a mustang brace in a tbird.

my personal opinion, if its not at least triangulated SOMEWHERE, its a waste of time. even triangulated to the pan would have minimal benefit due the the shallow angles involved. if you could triangulate upward you would be more likely to accomplish things.
