DSLR acquired, bunch of festiva pics Reply #2 – August 31, 2010, 09:34:58 PM Yeah they dropped actual rear badges after like 89 or so LOL.Though, $6000 for a new car that with regular maintenance is pretty much guaranteed to live to 300,000 miles and beyond, I wouldnt care. You cant get that these days.Oh, and DSLR = Digital Single Lens Reflex. AKA, real camera. Quote Selected

DSLR acquired, bunch of festiva pics Reply #5 – August 31, 2010, 10:24:51 PM Yeah I like car parts too lol, the lady had to get it for her photography class. The win part is that it does 720p video at 29fps and 1080p at 20fps. The newer T2i does 1080p at 30fps.I doubt I will take much 1080p though. The files are enormous! Quote Selected

The entire workings of an SLR are completely different than your typical "point and shoot" camera. I can take a P&S camera, and take a 8 megapixel pic with it. I end up sizing it down because it looks grainy and unclear. I can take the SLR and take a 15 megapixel shot and even zoomed in it looks perfectly clear. I can even back down to 7 megapixels and it will still look better than a 10 megapixel p&s. Not to mention that you can modify EVERY single setting that determines how a pic will look. And thats not even getting into lenses... Quote Selected
