Yep, that was my whole idea :)

I found a few cats in the boneyard, but none had an emblem big enough. Small ones were plentiful, but the Volvo emblem would swallow it up.

Not wanting to make a permanent change to the truck (which would mean I get a less than desirable truck, at best, means I had to use zip ties. Still, though, it makes an interesting 20-footer.

an extra rag helped hide the Volvo emblem ...

Yup, this is the daily driver. Then comes the Silverado, then the 'underbird.

This, particular truck is a '07 VNL 430 with the factory Volvo D13 engine putting out 475hp and 1750ft lbs @ 1600 RPM :headbang:

Catapillar was an option up until a year, or so, ago when Cat got out of the Class 8 market. They can't meet the EPA emissions regs, so they said, "we make enough money with other stuff, so we'll focus on that stuff."

The only thing that would be a Cougar in that picture is if your mama was sitting in the truck with a much younger man... LOL!
