it turns out the the cam was rotated a bit so put the cam pulley on 0 and rotated the cam until it lined up with the marker on the cover.

today im going to play with the cam timing. its guttless down low but the higher the RPMs the more power i feel. so im going to advance the cam to 4 degrees.

thats a good start, before you play with the time belt, you may want to try some more time advance (dizzy) I run some nutty advance 20* so you may want to bump that up by 2-4* at a time till you get pre/det/spark nock  then back it down about 4*

its a balance act betwen cam advance/ignition time and boost level get all 3 working right and you will be good

alright, cam is at 4* tomorrow im going to try out 6. every 2* degrees seems to get me 1000 more rpm of power lower in the rpm range. at 2* Adv i felt power at 5500. at 4* i felt it at 4500. so if it keeps going 6 should get me power at 3500 hopefully. with the spout unplug its at 13* for ignition timing.
