An electric impact is a really invaluable tool, I have worn out two of them , but sometimes ya gotta do what works .:hick:

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

quick question, what tool do i need to adjust cam timing and how do i adjust the cam timing?
1987 turbo coupe 5speed: Boport stage 3 head/2.5 cam , Precision stage 3 50trim .63 turbo, Tial 38mm wastegate, Jangus gutted/ported intake manifolds, 60mm tb, Jangus open dumptube, Jangus 3" elbow, Perrin boost controller,Esslinger adjustable cam pulley, Esslinger small crank pulley, stinger FMI, RFL BOV, Spec stage 3 clutch, B&M short throw, 140 speedo, Walbo 255lph, BBK fpr, 3G alternator, ARP studs.  Be faster... :poke:

I think that the starter method is the way to go. when i did my engine swap a few months ago, thats how i did it, but when i did i had the engine out of the car already...so i locked a pair of vise-grips in the flywheen and wedged it on the tire it was sittn on.
Remember, if the women dont find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

When all else fails, get a bigger hammer.
