Moonroof stuck popped open

So I've got an 87 T-bird, and the moonroof always worked just fine. Today it was hot so I left it popped open (vent position) while I went to work.

And now, it won't close. When I push the button (either way), I hear the click of what I'm assuming is a relay but I don't even hear the motor trying. The windows still work, by the way.

Now I don't know a lot about cars or electrical systems, but what might I do if I want to try to get this going again? I'm not sure if something melted in the heat of the day or if some asshole came by and tried to pry it open to break in (the parking lot it was in is notorious for that) or if something else is wrong.

I figured out the motor just died. I hope new ones are cheap.

Not likely...this is a Ford we're talking about. :)

However, you can use an Allen wrench to close the moonroof manually, with the old motor in place. I can't remember what size Allen wrench it takes offhand.

For the new motor, I've seen them on eBay but cannot vouch for quality.

Are the Bird moonroofs the same as the Mark VII ?

If so a lot of imports used the same motors such as BMW and Saab

When I had my Mark I bought 4 or 5 extra motors from the local Pullapart from said imports . They were identical down to the relays and wire colors
Fox-less at the moment
