Fog light emblem question

I was missing one of the cats from my 86 XR7 foglight and thru someone elses parts wanted request stumbled upon a ebay link to purchase one that is a laser cut aluminium piece that only needs painted and then glued on. In the meantime I found a guy local that thought he could make me one out of some stuff they use to make signs. Long story short he never got to it but did give me a sheet of the stuff and along with my newly acquired alluminum one I cut one out. I did install it and it looks fine but I dont think the eyes match the original one. If any of you guys with the lights can look at them and see the cut for the eyes and let me know. Anyway here are a couple pics to try to explain what I mean, the one with the fog light is the original I am comparing it to. By the way I have enough of this black stuff to cut probably 1000 of these things so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
