Identify this Sensor

Can anyone Identify what this sensor is? I believe it is a low oil level switch, but the local parts stores; CAP, Autozone, Adavanced Auto Parts, don't have a listing for it. Mine appears to be leaking and I would like to fix it.

Secondly, I don't have the low oil indicator light on my dash, as this motor came from a different car originally. Does anyone have the thread size for the bolt portion of this? Is it like a pipe fitting, or a tapered thread or some special piece? It'd be just as happy to put a plug or adaquete bolt to stop this from leaking. Again, if this is the low oil level indicator, I don't have the light, therefore don't need the switch, just information on what size bolt/plug to put in there.

It is the low oil sensor , and I'm about 80% sure it is  1/2 X 20  thread ...same as the drain plugs
Fox-less at the moment
