Fog Light Suggestions & Tech help Reply #22 – June 13, 2008, 12:33:32 PM Ok... I've got all the stuff: Fogs, generic wiring harness w/relay, stock fog switch. My only quetion now is what wire goes where on the fog light switch. It has a black, prob ground, and a blue(or is is it green) and also an orange wire. If I take the wire connector off the fog switch I got from vinnietbird I can connect the generic wiring right to the spades. I just want to be sure before I start blowing out fog switches. Any further suggestions?... I have been searching all morning for answers... and cannot find any in forums or jcassity's DIY section. I purchased stock fogs from vin as well. Marchal 750's. Do you suggest cutting the connector off of that or just splice behind it? I wouldn't think I would need it for anything. The way I envision this working is going independent from my light switch. I basically want my light switch and my fog swith so that I can turn on the lights... then turn on the fogs if I need them with another switch. The confusing thing to me with the instructions is that is asks me to tie into either the horn or headlamps. Not sure why... of course electrical is greek to me. Quote Selected
Fog Light Suggestions & Tech help Reply #23 – June 15, 2010, 10:58:56 PM FYI, they also used Marchals fog lights on 87-90 Escort GTs. Maybe on earlier models ( I had an 88 and an 88.5) not sure about the Mercury Lynx though. Dont think they had a GT Quote Selected
