42lbs injectors?

does anybody know if i can run 42's on the stock turbocoupe computer?
1987 turbo coupe 5speed: Boport stage 3 head/2.5 cam , Precision stage 3 50trim .63 turbo, Tial 38mm wastegate, Jangus gutted/ported intake manifolds, 60mm tb, Jangus open dumptube, Jangus 3" elbow, Perrin boost controller,Esslinger adjustable cam pulley, Esslinger small crank pulley, stinger FMI, RFL BOV, Spec stage 3 clutch, B&M short throw, 140 speedo, Walbo 255lph, BBK fpr, 3G alternator, ARP studs.  Be faster... :poke:

Maybe, but ONLY if they are the low impedance type, possibly will need to reduce fuel pressure...

The stock 2.3T ECUs can compensate for MAYBE a 10% increase in injector size.

Those are a 20% increase.

You may be able to get it to run (like butt), but it you will most likely have to dial back the fuel pressure, and it will still probably idle pig rich.  Best bet is some sort of tuner, either piggy-back, or standalone, to be able to mod the fuel tables.

Also, as mentioned, they need to be low-z to work with the stock 2.3T ECU.

could i just run my t3 at 22-23lbs of boost by just turning up the fuel pressure with the stock 35's?

well ive done more research and i found out that my 35's can handle 20+psi from my turbo so im not swapping to the 42's. so we can just close this thread. but within 6 months im swapping to a megasquirt setup, 75lbs injectors, and a hx30 or hy35 turbo.
