83 Radio wanted.

Do any of you guys know of a reputable radio repair person or happen to have a radio from a 83 Bird you want to unload. Its for my sons 83 Heritage so its the electronic one not the 2 post dial one. I can get pics if need be.

Also I thought I remembered someone on here updated a old style radio to play an I Pod, if anyone remembers that please refresh my memory. I would like to talk to him or her

may want to talk to someone you may know at a dealer. if i have one that needs attention for some reason, i can give it to the guy thats the authorized repairer for us and he will take it back to the repair facility and they will look at it and see if they can fix it. if they can, they'll give me an estimate before they proceed and i can tell them yes or no to fix it. or in some cases, tell me they cant get the parts to fix them anymore....:( they fixed the one in my '83 by cleaning it on the inside.
hope that may help.

What's wrong with it exactly? It could be something simple.
