Selling the 87 March 15, 2010, 10:37:06 AM Well its time to part with the car that introduced me to this site nearly 4 years ago. I never thought I would have it this long or that it would become one of the most dependable cars I have ever owned. Its a 87 with a V6 and about 179k on it. I have put over 50k on it myself. I had mentioned before I was going to sell it in the spring and Karen had a possible interest so to be fair I would give her first shot. It has a non-cracked dash from a 86 Cougar in it as well as sport seats and console from a 87/88 sport. I would prefer it goes to a person who knows and appreciates these cars so I will hold off alternative sales formats for awhile. If it doesnt sell here I will put the old headlights back in it and if someone is needing some slightly used NOS ones they will be available as the other cars here are older. I also have a set of 10 holes that I might be convinced to send with the car. I really dont know what its worth so I will leave it open to offer. I do have 2 rust free doors that the new owner can have also if wanted. Quote Selected
