Mark VII female seat belt connector?

Well I somehow broke the spring in the female part of my driver's side seat belt. It will buckle but if I jiggle it right it will unbuckle all by it self. Not cool:mullet:. The yard by me has a Mark VII in it and I was wondering if I picked up the female side of the belt (from the front seat) and swapped my minty seat belt cover over to it would it work?

The spring broke on mine. I'm thinking I'm just going to get an 80's Ford belt buckle and swap the spring over to my belt. Anyone know how to open up the buckle?

I just pulled the buckle off the rear center seat of an 89 Crown Vic at the yard and swapped the spring into my buckle. Easy as pie, once I took the front seat out ;)
