"Original car Florida car as a SUPER COUPE" = pretty rare considering the rest of us couldn't buy one of those till '89 ;)

Nice and clean,
IMHO it needs moldings between the bumpers and wheel wells though
Fox-less at the moment

Someone posted this before...I remember the flames and the old school wheels.  I would love to own it...but not for $14500.  Especially when it needs a repaint due to needing the flames removed ASAP.

Considering what you can buy for around $14.5 and the repaint it will need to get rid of the flames, he'll have it for awhile.

I'd like to find one of the 83 vintage magazine project cars, now there were some cool projects and paint schemes.

Seems as though the car DOES have some history, so where does he have the mis-info of it's originally being a SC?

Otherwise a nice Fox, despite those garish flames :D

I believe the "Super Coupe" is coming from the magazine name "Super Ford" and "Turbo Coupe" being combined.

Nice car, but I'm not into the flames.

The car could be saved......it obviously needs the "flames" removed and in my opinion....losing the red would be a step in the right direction too!! After some new paint, the side mouldings need to be put back on and it'd be ok. It's also going to need a new set of rims as I REALLY want those!! They actually are the exact same CSA rims I have on my 86 Capri 5.0 and are really rare!

Check out the pic below of my Capri....

Ray,

Very nice looking Capri you have there. Is it an '85 or '86?
I used to have an '86 myself.

Hey BCA, my Capri is an 86 though I've had: 2 85's, 2 82's, a 79, a 83, and a 79 rust bucket parts car. I currently have the black 86 (shown) a maroon V6 86 Capri, an 84 RS we are building for my girlfriend and two parts car Capri's, both 85's. I think I like them just a little more than the FOX Bird's, but I'd take another 4-eyed Bird in a heartbeat!!
