Always a Cougar fan

My grandmother had a 1974 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a 400 2bbl when I was growing up. Thats the car that started my love affair with cars and the Cougar. Ive had many different years but mostly I had the Fox bodies. My first and my fav was a 1987 Cougar LS. V6 I had it for 7 years and put a V8 in it but had to sell it. The kid that bought it wrecked her :( Then another 87 LS, an 86 Xr7 turbo, a 78 XR7, a 76 XR7, an 88 Tbird Sport, 2 1985 Tbird V6s, and an LTD 6and my SC Xr7 5 speed 89 and my 96, V6 Mn12). I found a picture of some of em. More as I locate em. This is my latest. A 1976 Cougar XR7. Her name is Elsa. Had 14,900 miles on it when I bought it last year off ebay. Re did all the suspension and doing an Edelbrock top end to the 351 for 400hp +:burnout:

thats our Barrett Jackson restored 1970 Mustang convertible (302) and our 03 supercharged 427 50th Anniversary Corvette (Ruby) in the background. The 2009 Dodge Viper ACR is a buddy's. He was storing it in our shop till his garage was finished.

That 76 is beautiful! I've been getting the itch to get another 70's Ford. The first car I ever drove was a 77 T-Bird. Had a LOT of fun in that car in High School.
