Good to see a Ford in a Ford.    Hilarious that it'll SMOKE a SBC 350....OR a 5.0.  Hell, that's BIG H/C/I 5.0 territory.  Not the run of the mill GT-40/letter cam/explorer intake stuff.  That's a high end build though, not a weekend project by any means ;)

Still gonna be very expensive until (and even after) the '11's come out.  Maybe a crate motor option will be on the menu from Ford Racing?

Well I know that when the Gen III SHO with the 3.4 V8 came out it was offered by FMS (IIRC)

I had one guy at Advance Auto telling me it was $12,000 to buy one when I had mine, I then proceeded to tell him he was an idiot.

It very well may have been what with everything needed to make it work in a bare car with NO electronics.  Seen the price on the GT500 motor?

No I haven't but I'm sure its completely outrageous. I think the moral of the story is here if you are looking into a swap like this you're best off with buying a wrecked car.

Outrageous isn't the word.

$17699 and that's not including the "control pack" which is ANOTHER $2000 and is believe it or not designed to run with a RETURN style fuel system.

So are early mod motors....FINALLY.

Lots of stuff is starting to come down the pike for the 2V motors.
