fs: 86 elan tampa bay area

as much as i hate to do this i have to sell the bird. 86 elan 3.8/auto.car is a non runner right now. the only rust on the car is under the batt tray.windshield has a crack. body has a few dings, no dents. interior needs work. i have parts to go with the car-perfect tail lights, tc column,console,tc dash trim,black carpet,door weatherstrip,auto floor shift assy,extra full set of keys/locks,mustang k member. asking $650. title in hand. i'm about an hour north of tampa.

Why doesn't it run?  Could you make it run to get it on and off a transport?

don't know, never tried to get it running. the guy i got it from said the trans was bad but it ran. it sat for about 3 years. i didn't care because i was going to do a 302/t-5 swap in it.

That's what I want to do and this car is perfect, but shipping's an extra $300 for a non-running vehicle.

I live in St. Pete and would like to come and see the Bird. How many miles on the 3.8 litre? Has the car been stored inside or outside? Has the motor seized up? Thanks, Tim

it's got about 120k on it. it will probably run with a set of new plug wires. the engine turns over fine and sounds good. forgot i also have an 86 5.0 efi harness for it. i'll pm you my number. John
