Rear axle brake lines - What I did
I purchased a '00 mustang 7.5 rear axle for the 83 T-Bird. -Edited- So here's what I did...
Ok, well, since no one wanted to save me from myself, the stock mustang lines use 10mm x 1.5 banjo bolts on the caliper end of the soft line, and has female bubble flares on the other end. The original lines on the Bird are all 3/16th standard flare so I would have needed adapters for 10mm x 1.0 bubble flare to 3/16th line.

As a side note, apparently rubber(?) spring perches don't last 26 years, at least the lower ones don't. - And don't even bother asking ANY parts house if they are in stock(Unless it's Energy Suspension) because they won't be. #4.6101R for the red urethane isolators('84 Stang).
I highly recommend having a hydraulic hose store make you custom brake lines in this case because apparently the late model mustang lines mount directly to the chassis from each caliper instead of meeting in the middle. The store local to me did it pretty reasonable, about $30/Line if I recall correctly.
