newbie thats computer illiterate!!!

hi my names dwight,and im computer illiterate!! i cant:mullet: post my pics of my 87 lx sport, so heres my cardomain garage. http//www.cardomain.com/id/3ddrifter the car has a 5.0 and in pretty nice shape for a n.y.state salt lick:evilgrin: tell me what ya think. thanks, birdman

Welcome to the site! I just checked out your cardomain. Car looks good, looks like you could use some gravel in that driveway though. LOL!! Good luck with it. I'm your first post over there.

thanks for checking it out. i just got done checking your cardomain out. sweet ride!! must of took a lot of time and effort. i picked this one up for a good base car for a project. new taillights and glass side window instead of plexiglass should help. as it goes for my driveway, justs way to many burnouts!! whats a good website for this year t-bird parts?? thanks, dwight

Go down to the classifieds and post what you're looking for AFTER you look on the "for sale" thread and see if you can find what you need there.There's a lot of stuff there.

Thanks man, I'm glad you like it. I've had it since 1990 and I've done a little each year. You just have to be patient and it'll come together. Like Vinnie there's alot of paerts to be found on here. I have quite a bit to sell myself, I just haven't listed it here yet but I do watch the wanted thread. Also check out craigslist, I sell a good bit on there and also the local sale papers.

what good junkyards are there down in p.a. ? ive been to harrys u pull it. im trying to find one with more than a single token thunderbird like garys u pull it in ny. seems like these cars are becoming alot more rare. id rather have the bird over the mustang, at my age 45, you dont have to stop, drop, and roll out of the thing like a stang. besides dang walker just keeps getting trapped under the car!! thanks, dwight

We had a good one here before they where bought out by a co. that's more into s than selling parts. They did have a whole row of fox birds and cougars but they're all crushed now. I keep checking every now and then but nothing. Although the last time I was there they where bringing in the crc cars and there was a 97 bird in very nice shape brought in. If I still had my 95 I would have had a field day. There was also one about 10 minutes from here but it closed. So like you said they're becomming a little more rare. Better off finding one cheap enough and using it for parts.

Did you get the rear corner windows you needed? I have some but they're for a tc so they don't have the chrome trim.

yep, bought it right off this forum along with a set of taillights. really all i need now is the thunderbird isignia for the rear. mines a sport. i had a 86 elan with a 5.0. car was awesome, cant wait to drive this!! thanks for the offer for the window though. dwight

thanks man. i think it from new jersey. i know one thing , no more winters!! these cars are sweet and try to find a more comfortable ride. along with a 5.0 makes a great combo! dwight
