'88 2.3 turbo cuts out/missfires on warmup November 01, 2009, 09:31:08 AM My 88 turbo coupe starts fine cold, just as it is getting warmed up it cuts out like is is running out of gas. Once it is warm it goes away.I am guessing a temp sensor or somthing. Anybody had this happen to them? Thanks John Quote Selected

Or are you saying as you're driving it slowly to get it up to temperature? I wouldn't overlook the basics, like making sure it's got good spark plugs. MY '87 would cut out when it was cold, especially if it was under just a few pounds of boost. The plugs weren't terrible but were a bit worn. Quote Selected
