I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Because then you lose power to everything including power brakes and EEC. Also takes the chance of locking the wheel.

Well I got this wired up with an on-off pushbutton switch. It works perfect. I would have rather had a momentary switch that I could hold down to break the circuit but radio shack didnt have that, only one to close the circuit. I have the switch sitting in a little hole above the no-EQ-pocket, but will probably move it somewhere where I dont have to reach for it. It works perfectly though with no strange side effects or anything. Great for killing the engine when I want to keep the ignition on as well.

I think a small momentary switch right on top of the shifter  would be perfect...

Could also use a hidden on-off sw to kill power continually, would make a good theft deterrent...

I was thinking that too, but thats the last thing I am worried about around here. I live in an apartment complex full of "illegals" (our landlord also owns a potato farm) but since they pay no taxes and get every government benefit on top of their pay they all roll around in nice new SUVs and such. They have no reason to jack my POS.
