my 10th anny of my 30th birthday

hit 40 ,, little did i know on my birthday that I was told in 4 hours i would be hand gliding.

I am so hooked now,, its like crack!!!!!

Small fry stuff i am doing now but i cant put into words how this has changed my life.  Since I do not own a glider, my sole aches for a return to the air.  Time will tell when I can find it appropriate to put money into something like that with other things going on but I will be back.

A few pics and hopefully a youtube link that works coming soon.

My dad has two hang gliders. One the have a replica in the national air and space museum of his hang glider, or used to. Its starting to rot from sitting since the 1970's.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Happy Birthday. Was the hang gliding the beginning of a mid-life crisis? If you start to look at, ugh, Vettes, then you'll know you've got a problem. JK. Hope you can get some more "air time" soon!
