Wanted: pre 86.5 K-member

With Winter coming up (yeah, I know, but this is MN) I figured I'd take a stab at posting a want ad for an original K-member pre 86.5.  Not worried about the arms or anything, just the K.  Having the original style motor mounts is a bonus.  I can arrange shipping through work using CCX collect.  TIA.

Yeah, I had an '85 stang GT offered to me for $150 for me to remove, but work has gotten worse than it was back in August when I posted.  I'm just trying to hang onto what I have now, and will look for a tubular down the road if/when things improve.

Is the Stang the same member? If so, I will have to look as I did have one from an 85 or 86. Is there a difference between the 86.5 and a 88 Tbird, as I think I have one from a 88 turbo coupe?
Thanks
Ken

the 86-88 tbirds* use a different style mount. the early ones use the mustang mount.

let me know how soon you need one, i can prob find one for you. i just got one for myself for free. if i can get another just arrange and pay the shipping and it's yours.

dont you just have to elongate the holes on the rear of mustang crossmembers?  I used a 79-95 qa1 member on my 86 tbird but it has sloted holes in the rear for the mounting and I think the early qa1's didnt so you had to slot them yourself....sound right?  Just got me curious now.
