Odd thing is that most of the box birds I've ever seen around here had them, I'll have to grab the next set I see now. Have two sets of the 'deluxe' covers off my 1980 and one set of wire covers off the 1982, the wires rattle and squeak like crazy though.ScottEvery year I have been collecting various Ford brochures off the showroom floor since 1977. I always knew about the standard wheel covers I bought and have seen them many times before, but the other day before I got my set delivered I went and checked my 1980-82 Tbird brochures and noticed they are not pictured at all. They are only mentioned as standard equipment on the base Thunderbird as "Full Wheel Covers". When you ordered the exterior decor or luxury packages you automatically got the radial finned "Luxury Wheel Covers". Wire wheel covers and special multi-spoke metric TRX wheels were optional.
