My Cats

I never posted any of my cars (because I never really posted at all) however I figured I'd show a bit of what I have.

The newly found interest is that I just picked up an 88 xr7 white with grey two tone leather interior and a moonroof.

I bought my first cougar in 1991 or 1992 so I could ween  myself off of building mustangs..Of course I soon found out...It wasnt soon thereafter I had a mustang HO motor and a t5 in it with the larger turbocoupe brakes and rear disk.  This was actually back when we had to look through wiring diagrams to figure out how to convert!

Anyway I am not much a picture taken but I do have a few to share..And When I pick up the new one..Ill make sure to take some before shots

The Cougar below I had sold to a local kid.  Stock ho stang swap with a t5 and exhaust ran mid 13's ll day long...He ran a 13 into a tree and remarkably walked way without a scratch....Of course they hd to cut the roof off:O)  I bought it back for parts

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Yeah Im the SCCOA guy..The SBP guy... I was on Coolcats when the site firts went up. Typical ford guy that owns a stang(a few supercoupes)..But my favorite of all cars are the fox body cougars.  Like I said I bought my first cougar to get away from building cars.  I had no idea it was a fox chasis untill I broke my exhaust off.  Thats when it all went down hill!  My black car went through many changes and currently sports a turbocharged v8, auto, and full griggs suspension (except k member which was from D&D) It's been on the back burner for the past 10 years projetc wise.

The white cougar I sold to a local kid who weighed no more then 120lbs soaking wet..THATS WHY he got out without a scratch..I would have had no legs.  Subfames helped Im sure.  So in about 3 hours Ill be picking up my new toy..The 1988 xr7...And will probably be looking for cheap sn95 upgrades I can use for it.  I want to keep it 4 lug so I can throw some snowflakes on it..I have three sets!

Anyway thanks for teh welcome and here is some more carnage photos

I actually have owned several cougars/birds fox wise.  An 88 sport tbird, the white cougar you saw..The black one (my first) which I still have.

The white car I had sold to a local kid..He crashed it..DIdnt weigh more hen 110lbs wet...
