wiered bump bump sound from motor April 14, 2005, 11:31:44 AM hey guys can any one help me out, i have a 87 cougar when i go to floor it some times the motor will almost bogg down and make a noise like bump bump bump. so if i let is coast and them put my foot back on the gas it does it agian. when i let it coast and then after a minute or so it will run fine. what could it be and could it hurt the car.thanks Quote Selected
