bracket fitment question/cam question

ok i picked up a 302 v8 from a '88 f150 as a temp engine for the stock car, and after this season the engne will be freshened up and put in dad's '85 cougar. My Question is, will the brackes for the accessory drive affect/rub against anything? figured it'd save him a chunk of money by using that setup. also can anyone recommend a good cam? hydraulic flat tappet, street use, aod tranny, 3:45 gear, e7 heads.
