WTB - Interior trim clips Reply #2 – July 08, 2009, 08:18:49 AM Scott,Sit in the driver seat, look to your left, look up. That piece of metal trim (between the A and B pilars) above the door. It's held to the body with two largish clips. I need 4 of those clips. Quote Selected
WTB - Interior trim clips Reply #3 – July 08, 2009, 11:52:32 PM no way in hell i have those,, sorry. misunderstanding. Those parts are under the trim holding the headliner up. I know who might have them,,,,Dr D on the old bird he is parting. Maybe those on his bird might be more year friendly with your model. Quote Selected
WTB - Interior trim clips Reply #4 – July 09, 2009, 09:26:37 PM i'm sure i got them, I'm just a little confused what your talking about. i sat in the car, looked left, then up and I dont see clips. althought I dont know the difference between a and b pillars either. Quote Selected
WTB - Interior trim clips Reply #5 – July 13, 2009, 02:02:23 PM The A pilar is the front pilar (windshield), the B pilar is the rear of the front door, the C pilar is the one at the rear (rear window). You won't see the clips because they are behind that metal piece of interior trim, holding it up. You have to remove the one phillips-head screw at the rear of the piece, and then basically yank on that piece of trim to remove it.I've checked 3 places now, and it appears all 3 sets of clips I had have gone AWOL. WTB - Interior trim clips Reply #13 – August 08, 2009, 11:01:58 PM I'm very certain that on '87-88's the trim is held on simply by self tapping screws which go into the sheetmetal. At least, the 4 '88s I've had were that way... Quote Selected
