My $300 XR7 had the dash out, hail damage and a serious RMS leak.

Did you ever talk to the guy that bought your Tbird?

:rollin: Yeah I've bought four '88TC for less than $300, but two wound up being parts cars... One was nasty rusty(and my cheapest ever at $150) and both had bad auto trannys... The third & forth were 5 speeds, one had a bad turbo, the other a fuel pump that only made 25psi fuel pressure(and that was idling)... Replaced the turbo with one from my now 5.0 TC and the fourth one's F/P and both were sold... I have bought two nice 5 speed '88s for less than $400, sold both of those and made some $$$$...

On the high end, back in '97, I paid $2100 for a nice, white(had to be white) '87 to do my 5.0 swap on, but then found my '88 for $1215 that eventually became the victim... Resold the '87 and got my money back...

BTW, I've owned five other(13 total), '87 -'88 TCs, but can only remember four of them... Ummm, wonder what that last one was??

Till this day I dont know who bought my silver 86. I just hope it went to a nice home and not trashed for a dunebuggy project or something like that. Do you guys know where it went?
