Picture of the dipstick tube? July 12, 2009, 08:45:25 PM Does anyone have a picture of how the dip stick tube mounts? Mine got pretty mangled and the bracket all buggered up. Now I don't know how to put it back. I need to see what bolt the bracket mounts to and where the tube comes up.Also, on my old block it squeezes in nice and tight. On my new block (from an 89 ford mustang) its loose. What gives?Thanks in advance.dz Quote Selected

Picture of the dipstick tube? Reply #2 – July 13, 2009, 09:51:33 AM I think on a TC and on the 5.0 its bolts into about the same location, on one of the transmission to motors bolts. Maybe the bracket if lose on the tube? Mine moves a little if you push it, but not a lot. It also presses down into the transmission, maybe push it in a little and see if its not in all the way? Picture of the dipstick tube? Reply #3 – July 13, 2009, 10:03:52 AM The Second Flair is bottoming out against the block. Its just kinda loose. Its a fresh painted rebuild so the last thing I want is a drippy dipstick tube screwing it up. Quote Selected
