my new project, June 27, 2009, 05:06:14 PM 1984 Turbo Coupe, no motor, no front seats. Doors a bit rusty, I'm looking to replace them but haven't crossed off the option of just fixing them. Other than that, there's a spot of rust under the battery tray, but that's it. Hopefully some Por-15 will keep it that way. For the suspension, I got a line on a SN95 set up, full rear end from a 95 GT with low miles and the front spindles. I want to then upgrade to Cobra brakes. I want to lower it as well, and put on some 18 inch bullets with 10 inchers in the rear. Under the hood, I have been leaning towards a 302. There's nothing like the sound of a cammed V8. However with gas prices up and down as they are and will be, a turbo four could be easier on the wallet. Plus with the number of used turbos popping up on ebay and craigslist, an upgrade isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. It's originally a manual car and the original trans is in the trunk. I'll probably put in some new syncros and check out the gears. For seats, I almost got my hands on a full set of SVT focus seats, red and black 2 tone like my interior. But they got away from me, so I'll just keep lookin. Overall, I don't think it's a bad buy for 300 bucks. http://img34.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=20090621museum0002.jpg Quote Selected
