Possible new 5.0 motor mounts available? June 25, 2009, 10:20:56 PM I was just browsing through summit racing online today when i came across this:Trans-Dapt Performance Products 4982http://summitracing.com/parts/TRD-4982/Judging by the picture, they would work for 86-88 cougar/tbirds with the 5.0, bolting to the block then using the horizontal bolt going from front to back like the stock mounts.Looks like a winner, anyone using these? It ALSO says that it fits 79-93 Tbirds...which is not possible.It's a UNIVERSAL SBF motor mount that works with their UNIVERSAL crossmember kit.I might have a little idea about motor mounts for these cars Just a hunch.
