Thank for the info TC50. Basically, it's tough to tell them apart. The alts have probably been replaced in the last 20 years, the EECs are behind a kick panel, the back window trim isn't a foolproof method and theVIN isn't obvious. That leaves some minor interior trim that may be different. No wonder I like them both so much!!

I would have still brought it home with the 87. Never know what little parts you might need since these cars are so hard to find.

You can have the camaro for about 80k lol
Since my accident I have been kicking around the idea with my dad about selling it...technically my car since I bought the body but he built the engine and did the cage. So its kinda both of our cars. Plus he wont drive it! lol

Good luck with the TC man! Im picking mine up in a few weeks and I can hardly wait! Its like christmas is coming! lol Keep pics posted of your progress

i would have loved to keep the 87 but i allready got 2 other projects that i have to finish
