t-bird PC Reply #4 – May 25, 2009, 09:06:32 PM Nice I had a carputer in my xr7 years ago. Except I used a mac mini, so it fit right in place of the standard CD player deck. I mounted the screen in the same position as you except i used up both vent slots, and then ended up re-locating the vents to that hole above the CD player. Very nice install though. Quote Selected

Having a built-in pc would have its advantages but also disadvantages as I'd want to replace the entire stereo with it but boot times suck compared to instant on headunit and I would have to run Windows so Linux wouldn't be an option. Looks good with exception of the missing duct for the passenger.Is that a 7" screen? Quote Selected

There is no buttons, only IR input. The monitor is connected to ACC line and programmed for auto power on. The monitor is same like one of LILLIPUT from US market. Quote Selected
