88 tbird rear window molding

Hey everyone, hope your weekend was nice.

I'm looking for the rear window molding for my bird. I know there are 2 types one is metal strip and the other one is a one piece plastic. I'm looking for the one piece plastic one. I can never find any at the bone yard. If you have one laying around let me know how much you want for it?

The other question would be has anyone just got rid of them (front and back) and filled the gap with silicone? Other than cosmetic do they have a purpose?
