front springs for drag racing May 12, 2009, 08:04:26 PM What front springs do you use? My 84 t-bird came with a V6 and I have not changed the front springs. The front sits a little high. front springs for drag racing Reply #2 – May 13, 2009, 04:38:13 AM I used the Eibach Mustang Drag Racing springs up front, but I have seen quite a few guys have success using the Mustang 4 banger springs. DO NOT use them in the rear.....they are way too weak. A 1994 to 2004 Mustang 6 cyl spring in the rear would be fine. Quote Selected
