Inner tie rod ends

Both sides of the inner tie rod are identical, right? Rockauto just sent me two, one with EV117 and one with EV117* on the boxes - the latter has 82-88 thunderbird marked on the side. It is completely off. I just want to verify that they should be the same before calling them tomorrow. I like how I can't trust anyone to get me the right parts/service - I've had problems continuously in the auto parts and machining industries. At least my NAPA parts appear to be correct for now...

Can you measure the old ones to see if they are the same length? I don't remember if they are the same on both sides or not. I changed my rack last year but it came with the inner tie rods.

They're still on the car...I won't be doing anything until I know I have the right parts. One has two male threads and one is male/female (like the ones pictures on the net).

One looks like this: https://factoryfiveparts.com/image.php?type=P&id=16276

One similar to this: https://www.carpartsdiscount.com/auto/archive/pictures/14690/600/1/P/23FA4D6/genuine_inner_tie_rod_end.jpg

Do you guys think the Moog parts for the inner tie rod ends are worth the effort? Otherwise I'll just stick with the ones on the new steering rack. From looking at the ones on the rack, the one I received is completely wrong as even the threads don't protrude as far as what is on both sides of the new rack.

Anyone even have an idea what the "wrong one" is from besides "Acura"?
