Muddy Bird December 10, 2009, 02:44:57 PM I only had one other car in my class (a MR2) the past RallyCross, and I already had 3rd place for my class wrapped up for the year...I mostly just had fun at this RallyCross with lots more wheel-spin (and Vehicle Spins!) than advised. Here are a couple pics:Lots of fun,Cooter Quote Selected
Muddy Bird Reply #1 – December 10, 2009, 07:02:59 PM Awesome, what kind of tires do they make you run? I would imagine some aggressive snow tires would do well on that. Quote Selected

Muddy Bird Reply #3 – December 15, 2009, 11:41:20 AM It is loads of fun... As for the tires. There are really only three main divisions for classes:Stock: -Any DOT-approved tires and snow tires are allowed, aggressive tires and modified tires may move you up to the next class, and any Rally Tire will indeed move you to the next class. (optional sizes from the manufacturer are allowed, and +/- 20 mm for the cross-section, +/- 5% for the aspect ratio; no home-built studded tires)-Stock size wheels are the only ones allowed (factory installed/dealer installed oem optional equipment is accepted too) Prepared and Modified (the last two classes):-Any tires are permitted that are DOT-Approved (there may be local restrictions for studs).-Any wheel is acceptable.I have two different sets of Snow Tires, and I plan to purchase some Mud-Terrains for the inevitable couple events per year that are real muddy.
