Manual parts needed now! Please. March 29, 2009, 09:20:51 PM Things are financially looking better for me these days and I'm ready to buy some parts.... I need all the parts to convert my cougar to a manual (i.e. clutch pedals, cables, mounting hardware, etc.). Everything that I need to connect pedals to a transmission and more. I got my whole setup out of an 85 ascmaclaren that I found in the back yard of an old farm. pedals bolted right in cable fits perfectly where the speedo cable ran. I just moved my speedo cable over an inch.total cost was 200 bucks. for everything. it takes time to find deals like this but they are out there just look. Quote Selected

Reply #8 – April 01, 2009, 06:35:03 AM Don't use the T5 out of a Turbo Coupe/XR-7; they are internally set up for a 4-banger and they usually grenade when you hook a V8 up to them. Look for a World Class T5 out of a Crustang.By the way, I have a brand new clutch cable (non-adjustable) as well as a mint condition boot and shift . Quote Selected
