does anybody know where i can get the dash harness for my 1988 cougar.. 3.8 v6.. digi speedometer. manual heat??

best bet, hit junk yard for your wiring.

Its going to be a battle piece milling. The 88 3.8 was sort of unique to that year only although you find the same motor in mn12 bodies.

You could use the engine harness from 88 + cars with the same motor and the interior harness can be had from 85-88.

This would be the way I handle your wiring project.

Also,, keep in mind the 84-873.8 engine harness will prob work as well although its CFI, it can be made to work on an 88. I explained this on the other thread.

Another thing, try to consolidate your wiriing thread(s), yoru going to loose information or wonder where somebody said what , as in which thread is it in.

It will also prevent someone from saying on this thread,,,,,,,,"what is it your trying to do?" now wouldnt that just piss you off:hick:

so the engine part of that harness, 88 + wiring can be used as long as its a 3.8 motor? and the interior part of that harness,85-88 wiring can be used? correct?
then what? just wire them together??
