Been busy workin on the 88 tc

Upfront no pics cause the laptop crashed typin this on my cell phone. ok heres what ive been up to lately.I installed new heatercore and ac condencer coil that got me started before i knew it i had the dash completely out, along with the seats front and rear, also took out the center console.since the sport had better seats and console i swaped them, but before installing them i rewired the stereo completely power wires to speakers and amp, also put in 3 plug 12v outlet so there was enough places for cell phones and gps unit.ok put the interer back in from dash, center console, seats, and door panels. Moved into trunk and put in amp inplace of the factory one.installed 10" subwoofer and replaced the broken taillight. Then i desided to change all the brakes and rotors on all 4's.After i did that i changed the engine oil ,brake fluid and power steering fluid too.Well i couldnt stop there went and bought new fuel pump filter and fuel pressure regulator. That wasnt enough had to get a new TFI moduel plugs wires cap and rotor button.figured what the heck new timing belt and raditor too. Got it all done and took the tc out for a drive,Now she barks tires in second gear.:burnout: All seamed to be going well till i got back home and was letting it idle when the check engine light came on code 34 looked it up on NATO and found out its EGR valve needs cleaned or something along that line ill get to it in a day or two.the wife and kids want some quality time:beatyoass:  been locked up in the garage :D I will get some pics up when i get the funds up to fix or replace the laptop spent it on the car :D

That was an amazing story.  I don't know the history of that car but, does changing the break fluid and power steering fluid do anything?  Cars are like a woman.  No mater how much love you give them.  There's always something.

Some where on NATO is an article about the code 34 being thrown because of the recall Ford did back when they were new.  Memory's a little fuzzy, but I'd search for it over there if I were you.  I seem to recall that if you have a green/black device in the vacuum line to your EGR valve, that's part of  the recall.  For some reason this will cause the car to throw a code.  My EGR is clean, I have the green/black device in my vacuum line, and my car will throw the code every time.  However, my check engine light doesn't come on.

Ok changing the brake and powersteering fluids is overlooked by a lot of people they breakdown too.changing all fluids is important to a long car life from coolant to the rear axle. I read the write up on the code 34 EGR just need to spend a day with the family try to make one day a week just for them.
