Slim chance but need a vehicle in FL asap

A buddy of mine is looking to move back here from FL. He was all set to go but his truck had head gasket failure and may have a cracked/warped head. (1990 ford bronco II 2.9).

need something ASAP. Looking for a decent enough /running truck or suv but maybe a car will do. something that will make the 1600 mile trip. cash and time is tight so 1000 bucks and maybe the bronco.

any leads? this in the gainsvill area.
